Steam distilled on our farm in New Mexico, the aroma of this hydrosol is delightfully sweet with a gentle floral scent and a subtle hint of honey. Lavender hydrosol contains water-soluable parts of the plant and can have wonderful therapeutic effects through its mood boosting properties, as it promotes positivity and reduces feelings of stress and anxiety. Hydrosols can be sprayed directly on the skin, and are safe to use on children and animals. Some uses of lavender hydrosol are that it tones skin, and can be used to reduce all types of skin irritation and inflammation. It can also be used as a room spray, as well as a pillow, furniture and linen spray. Its antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties make it ideal for cleaning your cell phone or tablet. It also makes a wonderful base for diy cleaning products. When sweetened, it can even be added to food or drinks and truly tastes incredible.
